About Swan Living
About Swan Living
Swan Living provides safe, highquality supported accommodation for adults experiencing housing instability[cite: 1]. We offer a stable home environment alongside practical support that helps residents rebuild confidence, develop everyday living skills and move towards greater independence[cite: 1].
We recognise that difficult experiences, disrupted relationships and periods of uncertainty can affect wellbeing and daily routines[cite: 1]. Our approach is respectful, consistent and person-led, enabling each resident to make informed choices and work towards their own goals[cite: 1].
The values that guide our day-to-day delivery
Dignity and respect
We treat every resident as an individual and respect their identity, experiences, culture, rights and choices[cite: 1].
Safety and stability
We provide well-maintained accommodation, clear expectations and prompt action when concerns are raised[cite: 1].
Compassion
We listen with patience and empathy, recognising that trust and confidence can take time to develop[cite: 1].
Choice and partnership
We work alongside residents and collaborate with referrers, local authorities and specialist services where appropriate[cite: 1].
Progress
We focus on realistic, achievable steps that help residents develop skills, recognise their strengths and build confidence[cite: 1].
Our Mission
"To provide safe and supportive accommodation where residents can build stability, strengthen independent living skills and prepare for a more secure future."[cite: 1]
Our Vision
"For every Swan Living resident to feel safe, respected and hopeful, with the skills and confidence needed to sustain a home and live more independently."[cite: 1]
Our Homes
Our homes are designed to be clean, comfortable and suitable for shared living[cite: 1]. They are located in Buckinghamshire, within reasonable reach of public transport, shops, healthcare services and other community facilities[cite: 1].
Residents have their own furnished bedroom within a shared residential property[cite: 1]. Shared facilities may include kitchens, bathrooms, lounges, laundry areas and outdoor spaces[cite: 1].
Each placement is considered carefully, taking account of the individual’s support needs, identified risks, accessibility requirements and compatibility with the existing household[cite: 1].
Our properties include appropriate safety and security measures, such as secure entry systems, fire safety equipment, staff presence and CCTV in communal areas where applicable[cite: 1].
Clear house expectations help maintain a safe and respectful living environment[cite: 1]. These may cover visitors, noise, substance use, fire safety, property care and the cleanliness of shared areas[cite: 1].
